Where can I find pets for adoption?
- The best way is to visit your local humane agency that provides adoptions. Although you can also look online, you can not tell the most important aspect of a pet online, their personality. Make a personal visit, do not choose by how cute they are in a picture, choose a pet because of the immediate bond you feel!

How do I collect on the APA's $1000.00 stolen pet reward?
- The stolen pet reward is an important part of our pet recovery system, and part of why it is the most effective in the nation. Many people today will find a keep a pet without considering the family that loves and misses him. If someone is knowingly in possession of a pet that does not belong to them they can be prosecuted for pet theft or possession of stolen property.
- If you know someone that is in possession of an APA registered pet that is not their own, call us immediately. We will seek prosecution and if successful, you will receive the reward. We often offer rewards for people that help APA pets get home in questionable circumstances.
